Quick Overview:
Anobliss Cream is a targeted, dual-action topical formulation designed to address both the neurological and mechanical causes of pain associated with anal fissures.
Nifedipine is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker. When applied topically to the perianal area, it penetrates local tissues to block calcium ion influx into the smooth muscle cells of the internal anal sphincter. By preventing calcium-mediated muscle contraction, it reduces sphincter hypertonicity (spasms). Lowering this resting pressure immediately improves local blood flow (microcirculation) to the ischemic tissue, which accelerates mucosal healing.
Lidocaine is a local anesthetic of the amide class. It works by reversibly blocking voltage-gated sodium channels along local nerve fibers. This action stops the initiation and conduction of pain impulses, providing rapid, temporary relief from intense burning and throbbing.

Uses / Indications
Acute and Chronic Anal Fissures: Formulated specifically to relieve severe pain, reduce internal sphincter muscle spasms, and promote the healing of structural tears in the lining of the anal canal.
Key Benefits
Dual-Action Relief: Simultaneously breaks the painful cycle of sphincter spasms (via nifedipine) while numbing sharp surface pain (via lidocaine).
Accelerated Tissue Healing: By relaxing the tight sphincter muscle, it restores crucial blood flow to the tear, allowing the body to naturally repair the mucosa.
Reduces Bowel Movement Distress: Minimizes the sharp, tearing pain experienced during and immediately after passing stools.
As Directed by a Physician: Typically applied locally 2 to 3 times daily, especially before and after bowel movements.
Administration:
Cleanse and gently dry the affected perianal area before application.
Wash your hands thoroughly. Attach the provided applicator nozzle to the tube or use a gloved finger.
Apply a small, pea-sized amount of cream externally around the anal opening and just inside the anal canal as prescribed. Do not insert the applicator deeply or force it into the canal, as this can worsen tissue tearing.
Clean the applicator thoroughly after each use and wash your hands.
Important Precaution: This medication is intended purely for localized perianal use. Do not ingest it or allow it to come into contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth.
Mild burning, stinging, or localized irritation at the application site
Anal itching (pruritus) or redness
Temporary local numbness
Dizziness or mild lightheadedness (if small amounts are systematically absorbed)
