Uses / Indications
Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes mellitus in adults.
Management of blood glucose levels when dual therapy (metformin + glimepiride) fails to provide adequate control, particularly in controlling post-prandial (post-meal) blood sugar spikes.

Common: Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), flatulence, abdominal distension, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and temporary metallic taste.
Severe/Rare: Lactic acidosis (serious metabolic complication linked to metformin), severe intestinal obstruction/gas buildup, and skin allergies.
